As high pressure sits over the Northeast today, we'll see mostly sunny skies and comfortable temperatures in the mid-70s. Winds will be light. High pressure will drift east Thursday, leading to sunshine and southerly winds. This will boost temperatures to 80 degrees. Clouds will increase Friday, and an incoming warm front will produce a few showers and rumbles of thunder toward evening. Temperatures will remain above average, in the mid-70s.As a cold front approaches Saturday, expect most of the rain to fall in the morning through early afternoon. It will turn breezy toward evening, as the front passes. Highs will be cooler, around 72. Sunday will be mostly sunny and cooler, as high pressure rebuilds over the area. Highs will reach the upper 60s.After a dry and warm start next week, rain chances return Wednesday and Friday. Temperatures will remain above average in the 70s and 80s.
